AH! I absolutley LOVE! jack rudolph. he was my favorite character/storyline out of the whole show. I dont think he got enough air time though. and he was gone for like 2 or 3 episodes. Jack really was the only reason i was watching studo 60 sadly im not that into the whole relationship thing (matt/harriet, danny/jordan) but other than that i thought it was a very very good show. I just wish it was still on. anyways!! off topic. Jack!! is awesome. who else agrees?

thank god someone else likes him too!!! I was going ot thank you for joining, but now I'm gonna thank you for liking Jack too!!! I love that guy! And Steven Weber played it SO well, he wasn't a stereotype at all, which is so hard when you play a character like that.

I've loved steven weber ever since i saw him on the shining. And now this is my new favorite role of his. I was glad to see that you made a board about Studio 60 because all the other ones are slowly *and sadly* dying. But back to Jack im also glad to see someone else that likes him. everyone else goes for matt or danny butt ill keep jack XD

ow, I love Matt and Danny, the three characters were equally well played and wel written, but i just love seeing a not so nice guy turn slowly into someone nicer, see the workaholic find a good life.

love Jack, too. Esp loved him when he's so adorably learning to speak Chinese at the lobby of a hotel while waiting for Kim's viola concerto to be over. And that scene when he's explaining to Simon that you ask the networks execs and you ask and ask, then he was on the verge of tears, oh man, that was tops.

yes, i watched this scene today i can't say i understood exactly what he was going through there, but it moved me. Since i'm from Brasil, I need subtitles sometimes, but I understood he was talking about MacArthism (sorry if I misspelled) and talking about the guys who made the lists os "comunists" (am I wrong?) and that none would never know who they were. that's where i got stuck - is he sd nobody remembers the chairmen or is he sad because everybody will always blame the chairmen?

I like the way he started out as a bit of jerk but Sorkin gradually revealed that Jack was really a decent guy.

what I like is that he could have been such a stereotype character, but he wasn't. And at the same time he got "softer" or more idealist, he was still the grumpy chairman.
